한국법무보호복지공단 경기북부지부(지부장 양희철)가 보호대상자의 안정적인 일자리 창출을 위해 경기도 남양주시 소재 냉동식품 전문회사 ㈜한맥(대표 성희승)과 업무협약을 체결했다고 13일 밝혔다.

이번 협약은 법무보호대상자의 원활한 사회복귀와 지역사회 범죄예방 활동 강화를 목적으로 추진됐다.

㈜한맥은 1985년 설립된 40년 전통의 냉동식품 전문기업으로, 햄버거, 돈가스 등 50여 종의 다양한 제품을 개발·생산해온 업계 선두주자다.

특히 성희승 대표는 현재 법무부 청소년 범죄예방위원 남양주지역협의회 회장을 맡고 있어, 지역사회 범죄예방 활동에 대한 깊은 이해와 관심을 바탕으로 이번 협약에 적극 나선 것으로 알려졌다.

성 대표는 "보호대상자의 원활한 사회복귀 및 자립지원을 통해 지역사회의 범죄예방 및 재범 방지에 기여할 수 있게 되어서 감사하다"며 협약 소감을 전했다.

양희철 경기북부지부장은 "법무보호대상자들의 건강한 자립 지원과 밝은 지역사회를 만들기 위해 안정적인 일자리 창출을 지원해주신 대표님께 감사드린다"면서 "이러한 관심과 지원이 헛되지 않도록 보호대상자 자립 지원에 최선을 다하겠다"고 답했다.

이번 협약으로 ㈜한맥은 법무보호대상자들에게 안정적인 일자리를 제공하고, 한국법무보호복지공단 경기북부지부는 보호대상자의 성공적인 사회복귀를 위한 맞춤형 지원 서비스를 제공할 예정이다.

법무보호대상자는 교정시설 출소자, 보호관찰대상자, 사회봉사명령 대상자 등을 포함하며, 이들의 사회복귀 지원은 재범 방지와 지역사회 안전에 중요한 역할을 하고 있다.

한편 한국법무보호복지공단은 법무보호대상자의 사회복귀를 돕기 위해 전국 각지에서 민간기업과의 업무협약을 지속적으로 확대해나가고 있다.
