고양도시관리공사(사장 강승필)가 운영하는 고양어울림누리체육센터가 여름방학을 맞아 어린이들의 건강한 휴가를 지원하기 위한 특강 프로그램을 운영한다고 16일 발표했다.

이번 여름방학 특강은 어린이들의 신체 발달과 건강증진을 목적으로 기획되었으며, 7월 21일부터 수강생 모집을 시작한다. 

프로그램은 빙상과 인공암벽 2개 종목으로 구성되어 있어 아이들이 다양한 스포츠를 체험할 수 있는 기회를 제공한다.

특히 이번 특강은 참여 부담을 덜기 위해 필요한 장비를 대부분 무상으로 지원한다. 

빙상 프로그램의 경우 스케이트를 무료로 제공하고 안전모를 대여해주며, 인공암벽 프로그램에서는 암벽화를 대여하여 누구나 쉽게 참여할 수 있도록 했다.

여름방학의 짧은 기간을 고려하여 단기속성 과정으로 설계된 이번 특강은 8월 4일부터 14일까지 총 8회에 걸쳐 진행된다. 

모집 대상은 종목에 따라 7세부터 초등학생까지로, 연령대에 맞는 체계적인 지도가 이루어질 예정이다.
