고양도시관리공사(사장 강승필)와 몽골축구협회(협회장 아난드바자르 초그트-오치르)가 14일 고양종합운동장에서 축구 분야 교류 협력을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 발표했다.

이번 협약은 양 기관이 보유한 자원과 전문성을 활용해 축구 인프라 및 지도자 등의 인적 교류를 활성화하고, 국제 스포츠 교류의 폭을 넓히기 위해 추진됐다.

아난드바자르 초그트-오치르 몽골축구협회장도 "한국의 선진 축구 시스템과의 협력은 몽골 축구 발전에 큰 도움이 될 것"이라며 "향후 지속적인 교류를 통해 양국 간 우호 협력을 강화해 나가겠다"고 말했다.

양 기관은 이번 협약을 바탕으로 하반기부터 구체적인 협력 프로그램을 본격적으로 추진할 예정이라고 전했다.
