경기도 파주시가 청년층의 사회참여 활성화와 기본권 보장을 위한 '2025년 3분기 경기도 청년기본소득' 신청 접수를 7월 1일부터 시작한다고 발표했다.

이번 청년기본소득 신청 대상은 신청일 현재 경기도에 주민등록을 두고 있으며, 경기도에 3년 이상 연속 거주하거나 총 거주기간이 10년 이상인 만 24세 청년(2000년 7월 2일~2001년 7월 1일 출생)이다.

신청 기간은 7월 1일부터 8월 11일까지이며, 심사를 통과한 대상자에게는 25만 원이 지급된다. 

기초생활수급자의 경우 관련 증명서를 첨부하면 100만 원을 일시금으로 받을 수 있다.

3분기 청년기본소득은 9월 10일부터 경기지역화폐인 '파주페이'로 지급될 예정이다. 

지역화폐는 전통시장과 소상공인업체에서 현금처럼 사용할 수 있다.

특히 이번 3분기부터는 청년의 자기계발 지원을 위해 사용처가 크게 확대된다. 

9월부터 학원 수강료와 시험 응시료에 한해 매출 규모에 관계없이 경기도 전역에서 사용이 가능해지며, 온라인 결제 기능도 새롭게 도입될 예정이다.

신청을 희망하는 청년은 경기도 일자리플랫폼 '잡아바'에서 회원가입을 완료한 후, 신청일 기준으로 발급받은 초본(전체 주소이력 포함)을 첨부하거나 공공마이데이터 사용에 동의해 신청하면 된다.

지난 분기에 자동 신청에 동의한 경우에는 별도의 절차 없이 자동으로 심사 대상에 포함된다. 

다만, 개인정보 등에 변경 사항이 있는 경우 접수 기간 내에 반드시 정보를 수정해야 한다.
