고양도시관리공사(사장 강승필)가 주관한 '2025 멍냥이랑 함께 와야지' 행사가 지난 21일 일산문화예술창작소에서 성황리에 막을 내렸다고 24일 발표했다.

이번 행사는 일산문화예술창작소의 시민 인식 확대와 활성화를 목적으로 기획됐다.

지역 예술가들의 창작 활동을 지원하고 시민 교류의 장 역할을 하는 복합문화공간인 일산문화예술창작소를 더 많은 시민들에게 알리기 위한 취지다.

행사장에서는 반려견·반려묘에 대한 이해를 높이는 전문 강연을 비롯해 산책 교육 실습, 펫로스 극복 프로그램 등 올바른 반려문화 정착을 위한 다양한 강연이 진행됐다.

체험 부스에서는 반려동물 건강 상담, 행동교정 컨설팅, 위생 미용존 운영 등 실질적인 도움을 제공하는 프로그램들이 마련됐다. 

또한 반려동물 용품 만들기, 유기견 입양 상담(반려온뜰), 그림 및 사진 전시 등 온 가족이 함께 즐길 수 있는 풍성한 콘텐츠로 구성되어 많은 시민들의 참여를 이끌어냈다.

특히 이번 행사는 준비 과정에서부터 지역 주민들과의 적극적인 협업을 통해 진행됐다. 

일산문화예술창작소 인근 '와야지 길'의 이름을 딴 행사명 선정과 프로그램 기획 과정에서 주민 의견을 적극 수렴하는 등 지역 공동체의 참여와 소속감을 높이는 데 중점을 뒀다.

강승필 고양도시관리공사 사장은 "일산문화예술창작소를 지역 커뮤니티의 거점공간으로 활성화하기 위해 다양한 행사를 지속적으로 주최하고 있다"며 "이번 행사가 많은 주민들이 창작소를 알게 되는 계기가 되길 기대한다"고 말했다.

이어 "시민과 반려동물이 함께 행복한 고양시를 만들기 위해 앞으로도 다양한 노력을 이어가겠다"고 덧붙였다.

At the experience booth, programs that provide practical help, such as pet health consultations, behavior correction consulting, and hygiene and grooming zone operation, were prepared.

It also attracted the participation of many citizens as it consisted of rich content that the whole family can enjoy, such as making pet supplies, adoption consultation for abandoned dogs (Banryo Onddeul), and exhibition of paintings and photos.

In particular, this event was carried out through active collaboration with local residents from the preparation stage.

The event name was chosen after 'Wayaji Road' near Ilsan Cultural Arts Creation Center and the program planning process actively collected opinions from residents, focusing on increasing participation and a sense of belonging in the local community.

Kang Seung-pil, President of Goyang Urban Management Corporation, said, "We are continuously hosting various events to vitalize Ilsan Cultural Arts Creation Center as a hub space for the local community," and "I hope this event will be an opportunity for many residents to learn about the Creation Center."

He added, "We will continue to make various efforts in the future to create a Goyang City where citizens and pets are happy together."
