문화예술 분야의 리더십 연구와 담론 형성을 목표로 하는 아트앤컬처리더십학회(LIAC, Leadership in Art & Culture)가 지난 20일 서울 서초구 서초문화재단 교육실에서 창립총회 및 제1회 포럼을 성공적으로 개최했다.

이번 창립 포럼에서는 김희재 올댓스토리 대표와 고중석 에그이즈커밍 대표가 특강 연사로 나서 주목을 받았다.

두 연사는 각각 문화콘텐츠와 공연기획 분야에서 쌓아온 풍부한 현장 경험을 바탕으로 예술계 리더십의 현실과 과제에 대한 실질적인 통찰을 제공했다.

창립총회에서는 추계예술대학교 안성아 교수가 초대 학회장으로 선출되어 학회의 첫 발걸음을 이끌게 됐다. 

안성아 학회장은 "문화예술계의 지속가능한 발전을 위해서는 창의적이면서도 전문적인 리더십이 필수"라며 "LIAC가 이론과 실무를 아우르는 리더십 연구의 허브 역할을 하겠다"고 포부를 밝혔다.

학회는 오는 9월 5일 제2회 포럼을 통해 더욱 구체적인 예술 현장의 리더십을 탐구할 예정이다. 

이번에는 발레리나 김주원과 지휘자 진솔이 발제자로 참여해 공연예술 분야의 실제 리더십 경험을 공유할 계획이다. 

특히 개별 예술가가 팀을 이끌고 작품을 완성해가는 과정에서의 리더십 발휘 방식에 대한 생생한 증언이 기대된다.

LIAC는 앞으로 격월로 연구회와 포럼을 정기 개최하여 문화예술 리더십에 대한 체계적인 연구 기반을 마련할 방침이다. 

학회는 단순한 네트워킹을 넘어서 학술적 담론 형성과 실천적 방법론 개발을 통해 문화예술계 전반의 리더십 역량 강화에 기여하겠다는 목표를 세웠다.

문화예술계에서는 창작과 경영, 교육과 대중소통 등 다층적 역할을 수행해야 하는 리더들이 늘어나고 있어, 이들을 위한 전문적인 연구와 교육의 필요성이 높아지고 있다. 

LIAC의 출범은 이러한 시대적 요구에 부응하는 의미 있는 첫걸음으로 평가된다.
