한국법무보호복지공단 경기북부지부(지부장 양희철)가 포천시 소재 물류업체 '영남물류'를 제85호 법무부 일자리 우수기업으로 선정해 인증패를 전달했다고 5월 28일 발표했다.

영남물류는 지속적으로 한국법무보호복지공단의 법무보호사업에 참여하며 법무보호대상자의 고용과 사회복귀에 기여한 공로를 인정받아 이번 선정의 영예를 안았다.

법무부 일자리 우수기업은 출소자, 보호관찰대상자 등 법무보호대상자들에게 안정적인 일자리를 제공하고 이들의 사회복귀를 적극 지원하는 기업에 수여되는 인증이다.

김재석 영남물류 대표는 "앞으로도 보호대상자들의 안정적인 사회복귀와 일자리 창출에 최선을 다하겠다"며 "지역사회와 함께 성장하고 상생하는 기업을 만들도록 노력하겠다"고 소감을 밝혔다.

양희철 한국법무보호복지공단 경기북부지부장은 "영남물류와 같은 기업들의 적극적인 참여가 법무보호대상자들의 성공적인 사회복귀에 큰 도움이 되고 있다"며 "앞으로도 더 많은 기업들이 동참해 주기를 바란다"고 말했다.

한편 한국법무보호복지공단은 출소자와 보호관찰대상자 등이 건전한 사회구성원으로 복귀할 수 있도록 취업알선, 직업훈련, 생계지원 등 다양한 보호사업을 펼치고 있다.
