덕은한강중학교(교장 김한수)가 5월 27일 교내 쉼터인 '에코 헤븐'에서 '2025 예술공감터 제2회 학교숲 음악회'를 성공적으로 개최했다.

이번 음악회는 지난해부터 시작된 '등굣길 음악회'의 발전된 형태로, 학생들의 인성과 역량 함양을 목적으로 한 학생 주도형 예술 활동이다. 

덕은한강중학교는 2024년부터 매월 정기적으로 이러한 음악회를 개최해왔으며, 올해는 학교 예술 중점 운영교로 발전하게 되었다.

학교숲 음악회는 매월 등하교 시간이나 점심시간을 활용하여 개최되며, 학생들이 직접 기획하고 운영하는 것이 가장 큰 특징이다. 

학생들은 다양한 장르의 음악 공연을 통해 자율성과 창의성을 기르고 있다.

올해 운영되고 있는 예술공감터 프로그램은 세 가지 핵심 특성을 갖고 있다.

첫째는 완전한 학생 중심 운영이다. 

학생들이 공연을 직접 기획하고 프로그램을 구성함으로써 자주적이고 창의적인 활동 역량을 키워나가고 있다.

 '등굣길 하이파이브' 같은 학생 주관 활동과 학부모회 주도의 '따뜻한 말 한 마디' 캠페인을 동시에 운영하여, 교사·학생·학부모가 함께하는 소통과 공감 중심의 인성교육을 실현하고 있다.

김한수 교장은 "학생들의 마음 건강을 위한 우리 학교 선생님들의 노력과 학생들의 적극적 참여, 학부모의 관심이 바탕이 된 예술공감터 '학교숲 음악회'를 통해 학생들이 학교에서 즐거움을 느끼기를 바란다"고 말했다.
