가정의 달 5월, 포천시 소홀읍 주공아파트 단지에는 특별한 향기가 가득했다. 

바로 1000그릇의 짜장면에서 피어오르는 따뜻한 정의 향기였다.

지난 24일, 사단법인 한국숲사랑총연합회 경기지역(총재 김필례)이 포천시지회 주관으로 진행한 '사랑의 이웃돕기 나눔 행사'는 단순한 무료급식을 넘어 지역사회에 온정의 물결을 일으켰다.

이날 오전 7시, 아직 해가 채 떠오르기 전부터 30여 명의 자원봉사자들이 분주히 움직이기 시작했다.

 김필례 총재를 비롯해 김미경 여성회장(현 고양시의원), 윤형용 나눔봉사회장, 김성희 포천시지회장 등이 앞치마를 두르고 어르신들을 위한 짜장면 준비에 나섰다.

"어르신들께서 맛있게 드시는 모습을 상상하니 새벽잠도 마다할 수 없었습니다." 한 봉사자의 말처럼, 이들의 얼굴에는 피로보다 설렘이 가득했다.
