파주시청소년재단 파주시청소년수련관이 2025년 파주시 교육발전특구 시범사업의 일환으로 ‘당일형 창의적체험학습’을 5월부터 12월까지 운영한다.

이번 프로그램은 봉일천중학교를 시작으로 파주시 내 청소년을 대상으로 진행되며, 청소년들의 진로 탐색 역량을 강화하고 지역사회와 연계한 실질적인 체험 기회를 제공하기 위해 기획됐다. 

바리스타, 클라이밍, 요리실습 등 총 12개 분야의 진로 체험으로 구성된 이번 체험학습은 학생들이 교실을 벗어나 생생한 현장에서 다양한 진로를 직접 경험할 수 있도록 했다.

특히, 이론 중심이 아닌 실습 중심의 프로그램 운영을 통해 청소년들이 스스로 체험하고 느끼며 진로에 대한 이해도를 높일 수 있도록 한 점이 주목된다.

실제로 참가 학생들은 각 분야 전문가의 지도 아래 실습을 진행하며, 자신의 적성과 흥미를 발견하는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌다.

박종훈 파주시청소년수련관 관장은 “이번 프로그램은 청소년들이 교실을 벗어나 다양한 진로를 직접 체험해보며, 미래에 대한 방향성을 스스로 설계해볼 수 있는 소중한 기회”라며, “앞으로도 지역사회와 연계한 창의적체험활동을 통해 청소년들의 성장과 진로 탐색을 지속적으로 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

이번 체험학습은 파주시 교육발전특구 지정 이후 지역사회와 학교가 유기적으로 협력하여 청소년에게 실질적인 교육 기회를 제공한 우수 사례로 평가받고 있다.

특히, 청소년들이 스스로의 관심사를 발견하고, 체험을 통해 진로에 대한 방향성을 설정해보는 의미 있는 기회로 작용했다는 점에서 긍정적인 반응을 얻고 있다.
