한국숲사랑총연합회 경기지역이 산불 피해를 입은 경북 영양군을 방문해 성금을 전달하고 봉사활동을 진행했다.

21일 한국숲사랑총연합회 경기지역에 따르면, 회원들은 지난 19일 영양군 석보면 화매리와 포산리를 찾아 영농폐비닐 수거와 하천환경정화활동을 실시했다.

이번 봉사활동에는 김필례 경기지역 총재와 조금복 사무총장, 정형배 산림보호회장, 김미경 고양시의원 등 50여 명이 참여했다.

회원들은 지역 피해주민들에게 300만원의 성금과 함께 재래식 된장 100kg을 전달했다. 

특히 회원들과 함께 봉사활동에 참여한 고양시 삼송 4·5통 박성규 노인정 회장은 현장에서 즉석으로 20만원의 성금을 기부했다.

봉사활동 현장에는 오도창 영양군수도 참석해 회원들에게 감사의 뜻을 전했다.

김필례 총재는 "미약하지만 산불 이재민들에게 도움이 되길 바란다"며 "하루 빨리 산불피해 수습과 산림회복이 이루어지기를 희망한다"고 말했다.

The members delivered 3 million won in donations and 100kg of traditional soybean paste to the affected residents.

O Do-chang, the governor of Yeongyang County, also attended the volunteer activity site and expressed his gratitude to the members.
