고양문화재단이 시민들의 이야기와 사연을 바탕으로 직접 찾아가는 버스킹 프로그램 '공연와락'을 운영한다.

'공연와락'은 공연이 직접 시민을 찾아가 함께 즐기는(樂) 자리라는 의미로, 고양시민들이 문화예술을 쉽게 접하고 문화적 거리감을 해소하기 위해 기획됐다.

고양시민이나 고양시에 위치한 단체는 누구나 신청 가능하며, 가족 모임, 마을 공동체, 유치원, 초등학교 등 공연이 필요한 곳이면 어디든 찾아간다.

신청은 사연과 공연 장소, 원하는 장르 등을 엽서나 편지에 적어 고양문화재단에 우편 또는 이메일로 보내면 된다. 

접수는 4월부터 11월까지 연중 상시 진행된다.

공연에는 고양시 공식 거리공연 단체인 '고양버스커즈'가 참여한다. 

이들은 악기 연주, 밴드, 노래, 마술, 퍼포먼스 등 다양한 장르의 약 150여 개 팀으로 구성되어 있으며, 매주 주말 일산 호수공원, 레이킨스몰, 라페스타 등에서 거리공연을 선보이고 있다.

고양문화재단 남현 대표는 "공연와락은 공공의 지원을 받기 어려운 소규모 커뮤니티의 작은 사연까지 담아내기 위해 기획됐다"며 "고양시민 여러분의 다양한 사연을 기다린다"고 밝혔다.
