일산소방서는 지난 13일 오후 3시경 경기도 고양시 일산동구 에서 발생한 응급 상황에서 구급대원의 신속한 응급처치를 통해 환자의 생명을 구했다고 밝혔다.

50대 남성이 흉통을 호소하며 신고했고, 백석119안전센터 구급대원(소방장 고현종, 소방교 김미리, 구급보조인력 박예린)이 즉시 현장으로 출동했다.

환자는 구급대원 도착 1분 후 심정지 상태에 빠졌으며, 구급대원들은 즉시 심폐소생술(CPR)과 심장충격기(AED)를 활용한 응급처치를시행했다. 

구급대원이 현장에서 6분간 심폐소생술을 시행하며 사투를 벌인 결과 환자는 기적적으로 다시 맥박을 되찾았고, 이후 의식까지 명료한 상태로 회복되었다. 

구급대원들은 지속적으로 환자의 상태를 관찰하며, 뒤이어 도착한 풍동119안전센터 구급대원(소방교 조우성, 소방사 이로운, 백석대 실습학생 이해준)과 함께 신속히 인근 병원으로 이송하였다.
