일산서구보건소는 국가암검진 사업의 원활한 추진을 위해 기간제, 공공근로 등 전담인력을 확보해 검진 대상자 1:1 유선 안내, 주기적인 문자메시지 안내, 행정복지센터 등 13곳에 채변통 배부, 암 검진 캠페인 실시 등 다각적인 수검 독려 활동을 추진해 지난해에 이어 올해도 수검률 전국 1위를 달성했다.

보건소 관계자는 “건강검진 사업은 많은 인력이 소요되는 사업으로 팀원들이 한마음으로 협심해 노력하였기에 좋은 결과를 얻게 됐다”면서 “암은 조기 발견이 중요한 만큼 올해 검진 대상자는 가까운 시일 내에 국가암검진을 받길 바란다”고 말했다.

올해 국가암검진 대상자는 홀수년도 출생자로 ▲위암 만 40세 이상의 남녀 ▲대장암 만 50세 이상 남녀(1년 주기)▲간암 만 40세 이상 남녀 중 간암 발생 고위험군(6개월간 주기)▲유방암 만 40세 이상 여성 ▲자궁경부암 만 20세 이상 여성 ▲폐암 만 54-74세 남녀 중 폐암 발생 고위험군이다.[고양=박정호 기자]
