고양특례시는 지난 13일 대한주택건설협회 경기도회와 함께 ‘주거취약계층 집수리 지원사업’을 통해 집수리를 마친 가구(일산서구 소재)에 대한 현장 방문을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이 날 현장 방문에는 이동환 고양특례시장, 대한주택건설협회 지재기 경기도회장 등 10여 명이 참석해 개선 상태를 확인하고 민원인의 만족도와 의견을 청취하는 시간을 가졌다.

시와 대한주택건설협회 경기도회는 2023년 10월 ‘주거취약가구의 주거안정 및 지역건설산업 활성화를 위한 업무협약'을 체결하고, 이 협약에 따라 2024년 4가구의 집수리를 지원했으며, 2025년에는 지원 대상을 더욱 확대할 예정이다.

시는 지난해 9월부터 10월까지 관내 집수리 희망가구를 모집·발굴해 추천하고, 협회는 각 가구를 방문해 보수가 필요한 부분을 점검하고 주택 내의 단열 보강·도배·장판·싱크대 등 집수리 공사를 실시했다.

지원을 통해 집수리를 한 주민은 “집이 오래돼서 춥고 불편했는데, 도배와 장판 등을 새롭게 교체해줘서 깨끗하고 편안하게 지낼 수 있게 됐다”며 감사의 뜻을 전했다.

이동환 고양특례시장은“주거 취약가구에게 따뜻하고 안정적인 주거환경을 지원하는데 도움을 주신 대한주택건설협회 경기도회에 감사드린다”며, “앞으로도 취약계층의 주거안정을 위해 민관 협력의 주거복지 지원정책을 지속적으로 이어나가겠다”고 말했다.
