일산소방서는 지난 13일 겨울철 물류창고 및 판매시설의 안전관리 강화와 소방시설 및 피난‧방화시설 불법행위 근절을 위해 화재안전조사를 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 화재안전조사는 화재발생 시 수직으로 적재된 가연물의 급격한 연소확대로 대형 인명피해가 발생할 수 있는 대상의 안전 확보를 위해 실시됐다고 일산소방서는 전했다.

주요 점검 내용은 ▲소방시설 전원차단ㆍ연동정지 여부 ▲피난․방화시설 폐쇄․훼손 및 계단통로 등 피난대피로 확보 여부 등이다.

권웅 일산소방서장은 “화재 발생 시 대형화재 및 다수 인명피해가 발생할 우려가 큰 관내 물류창고, 판매시설에 대한 화재예방 활동을 지속적으로 실시하고 관계자에게 자율 안전 관리 문화 정착을 위한 지속적인 교육과 홍보를 추진하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.[고양=박정호 기자]
