고양특례시는 세계적인 아티스트 지드래곤(G-DRAGON)의 글로벌 월드투어 ‘위버맨쉬(Übermensch)'의 첫 공연이 오는 3월 29일과 30일, 고양종합운동장에서 개최된다고 밝혔다. 

이번 공연은 고양시가 대형 공연 유치를 위해 지속적으로 노력해 온 성과 중 하나이며 쿠팡플레이의 첫 협력 사례로, 향후 글로벌 엔터테인먼트 도시로의 도약을 위한 의미 있는 첫걸음이 될 전망이다.

이번 공연은 ‘쿠팡플레이와 함께하는 지드래곤 2025 월드투어 '위버맨쉬' 인 코리아'라는 타이틀로 진행되며, 쿠팡플레이는 한국 콘서트의 프레젠팅 파트너로서 지드래곤만의 독창적인 음악세계와 퍼포먼스를 선보일 예정이다.

쿠팡플레이는 이번 공연을 시작으로 차별화된 라이브 공연 콘텐츠를 지속적으로 선보이며, 고양시와 함께 글로벌 엔터테인먼트 도시 조성에 협력할 계획이다.

고양종합운동장은 카니예웨스트, 콜드플레이, 오아시스 등 세계적 아티스트들이 선택한 검증된 장소로, 이제는 K-POP 대형 가수들의 월드투어 시작점으로 자리매김하며 한국 공연문화의 새로운 중심지로 도약하고 있다.

고양시는 이번 공연 뿐 아니라, 콜드플레이 내한공연 등 앞으로 개최될 대형공연의 성공적 개최를 위해 전방위적 지원에 나선다. 

오는 2월 26일에는 이동환 고양특례시장 주재로 ‘고양시 대형공연 유치사업 행정지원대책 보고회’를 개최해 40여개 부서 및 유관기관이 참여하는 통합 행정지원체계를 구축한다.

보고회에서는 △교통·주차 대책 △안전관리 △환경·위생 △홍보 등 분야별 세부 행정지원계획이 논의된다.

특히 일산서부경찰서, 일산소방서, 한국철도공사 등 유관기관과의 긴밀한 협조체계를 구축해 관람객의 안전하고 편리한 공연 관람을 위한 준비에 만전을 기할 예정이다.

시 관계자는 “쿠팡플레이와 같은 혁신적인 OTT 서비스와의 협업으로 세계적인 K-POP 아티스트들의 월드투어가 고양에서 시작된다는 것은 우리 시가 글로벌 엔터테인먼트 도시로 한 단계 도약하는 의미 있는 성과”라며, “체계적인 행정지원을 통해 이번 공연을 성공적으로 개최하고, 앞으로도 다양한 글로벌 파트너들과 협력해 세계적인 공연거점도시로서의 입지를 더욱 굳건히 할 것”이라고 밝혔다.

한편, G-DRAGON WORLD TOUR [Übermensch]는 고양시를 시작으로 전 세계 주요 도시를 순회하며 팬들과 만날 예정이다. 

국내 공연 티켓은 쿠팡플레이 모바일 앱을 통해 독점 판매되며, 2월 26일 팬클럽 선 예매를 시작으로 27일부터 일반 예매가 진행된다.
