한국농어촌공사 파주지사(지사장 전홍성)는  21일 파주시민을 대상으로 고령농업인의 영농은퇴 이후의 안정적인 소득을 위해 추진하고 있는 ‘농지이양 은퇴직불사업’ 홍보를 실시하였다.

「농지이양 은퇴직불사업」은 2024년부터 고령농업인의 영농 은퇴 후 소득 안정을 도모하고 농업경영의 세대 전환을 촉진하기 위하여 청년농업인, 공사 등에게 농지를 이양(매도 등)하는 고령 농업인을 대상으로 보조금을 지급하는 사업입니다.

약정 체결일 기준 현재 만 65세 이상 만 84세 이하 농업인 중 최근 10년 이상 계속하여 농업경영을 하고 있는 농업인으로서 3년 이상 소유 중인 농업진흥지역 농지(농업진흥지역 밖의 경지정리가 완료된 농지 포함)를 청년농업인, 공사 등에게 이양하는 경우 지원이 가능하다.

농지 ‘매도’ 또는 ‘매도 조건부 임대’ 방식으로 신청할 수 있으며, 매도이양을 신청하는 농업인은 소유하고 있는 농지 1천제곱미터 미만을 제외하고 모두 매도 이양하여야 한다. 

매도 시에는 은퇴직불금 1ha당 매월 50만원(연 600만원), 매도 조건부 임대 시에는 1ha당 매월 40만원(연 480만원)을 지급 받을 수 있다. 

전홍성 지사장은 “농지이양 은퇴직불제는 고령농업인의 소득안정과 청년농의 정착을 동시에 도와 농촌 고령화 및 공동화를 해결할 중요한 사업이다.
