고양도시관리공사는 에너지경영시스템 국제 표준 규격인 “ISO50001” 인증을 획득했다고 21일 밝혔다.

공사는 온실가스 배출 저감을 목표로 탄소중립 중장기 로드맵을 수립하여 고효율 설비 투자, 에너지 소비 패턴 분석 등을 통해 에너지 소비 효율을 끌어올렸으며, 특히 고양농수산물 유통센터 등 6개 시설에 대한 태양광 발전사업과 다중이용시설 지열에너지 활용, 폐열 회수장치 운영을 통한 친환경 경영에 대해 높은 평가를 받으며 ISO50001 인증을 획득하였다.

공사 강승필 사장은 “2030년까지 온실가스 감축 37.4% 달성을 위해 신재생 에너지를 확대 도입하여 건물의 에너지효율을 지속적으로 개선할 예정이며, “「기후위기대응 선도 고양시, 대한민국 대표 탄소중립도시」로의 발돋움을 위해 더욱 노력할 것이다“라고 말했다.
