서정대학교 스마트모빌리티과 박진혁 교수가 지난 27일, 동두천 컨벤션 웨딩홀에서 열린 ‘한국법무보호복지공단 경기북부지부 고용협력위원회 회장 이·취임식 및 정기총회’에서 제2대 회장으로 취임했다.

이번 취임식은 임기 2년 동안 활발한 활동을 이끈 한보호 초대 회장의 이임식과 함께 진행되었다. 

행사는 1대 회장과 사무국장에 대한 감사패 전달, 지부 공로패 전달, 신임 위원 위촉장 수여 등의 순서로 이어졌으며, 경기북부지부 양희철 지부장의 축사로 마무리되었다.

박진혁 신임 회장은 취임사에서 “범죄 예방과 취업 지원, 그리고 고용 협력을 통해 법무보호사업 발전에 최선을 다하겠다”고 포부를 밝혔다. 

그는 특히 “위원회 소속 회원들이 더욱 성장할 수 있도록 전문적인 교육과 세미나를 적극적으로 추진하겠다”며 위원회와 공단 간의 긴밀한 협력을 강조했다. 

또한, 그는 경기도중소기업CEO연합회 양주지회(회장 한보호)와 함께 법무보호대상자는 물론 국제학생 등 다양한 취업 및 고용 협력 방안을 모색하겠다는 의지를 밝혔다.

고용협력위원회는 경기북부지역에서 교정기관 출소자와 보호처분자를 대상으로 숙식 제공, 직업훈련, 취업 및 주거 지원, 사전 상담 등 다양한 법무보호복지사업을 수행하며, 교정복지 등 전문적인 지원 활동을 펼치고 있다.

한보호 초대 회장은 이임사에서 “지난 2년 동안의 성과는 모두 위원들의 노력 덕분”이라며 박진혁 신임 회장에게 위원회의 지속적인 성장과 발전을 위한 협력을 당부했다.

박진혁 신임 회장은 현재 서정대학교 스마트모빌리티과 교수로 재직 중이며, 한국법무보호복지공단 이사, 의정부지방법원 민사조정위원 등 다양한 직책을 맡아 법무보호사업과 사회적 가치 확산에 기여해왔다. 

그는 “이번 회장직을 통해 고용 협력과 법무보호사업 그리고 교정복지 발전에 앞장서겠다”는 의지를 밝혔다.

Professor Jinhyeok Park of the Smart Mobility Department of Seojeong University was inaugurated as the 2nd Chairman at the ‘Korea Legal Aid Corporation Gyeonggi Northern Branch Employment Cooperation Committee Chairman Inauguration Ceremony and Regular General Meeting’ held at the Dongducheon Convention Wedding Hall on the 27th.
