재단법인 고양국제꽃박람회는 지난 6월부터 11월까지 24주간 진행된 ‘2024 새벽시장 호수장터’가 성황리에 막을 내렸다고 밝혔다.

올해까지 4년 연속 진행된 새벽시장 호수장터는 고양시 일산호수공원의 대표적인 새벽 농산물 장터로, 고양시민의 성원 속에 품질 좋은 화훼와 신선한 농산물을 제공하고 농업 판로를 확대하기 위해 매년 확대 운영하고 있다.

올해 장터에서는 고양시에서 생산하는 우수 화훼류 및 곡물, 채소, 과일, 가공식품 등 시민의 건강한 식탁을 책임질 50여 종 이상의 다양한 농산물을 전시 및 판매했다. 

총 이용 건수 14,701회, 매출액 약 2억 7천만원을 기록하며 성공적인 로컬장터로 안착했다.

특히 올해 장터는‘2024년도 정례 직거래장터’지원 사업으로 선정돼 운영비를 지원받는 등 전년도 사업보다 확대된 규모로 시행되었다.
