고양특례시는 지난 27일 국토교통부와 한국부동산원이 주관한 ‘2024년 건축물관리계획 제도운영' 평가에서 우수 지자체로 선정됐다고 밝혔다.

해당 상은 건축물의 장수명화를 위한 우수 점검 기술을 확산시키고, 건축물관리점검 제도의 안착을 유도해 건축물의 안전이 확보되도록 장려하기 위해 수여하는 상이다.

고양특례시 건축정책과 건축안전관리센터팀은 ▲건축물관리계획 수립 ▲건축물 정기점검 정착 ▲건축물 안전진단과 긴급점검 수행 ▲건축물관리법 시행에 따른 건축물 해체·화재안전성능보강 제도 등에서 우수한 평가를 받았다.

아울러, 시에서는 건축물 안전을 위해 다중이용시설 등 대규모 건축물 외에도 소규모 건축물에 대한 유지관리와 안전점검을 실시했으며, 한국건설기술연구원과 업무협약을 통해 노후화된 건축물의 안전관리를 위한 방안도 진행 중에 있다.
