파주소방서는 가을을 맞이하여 9월과 10월 두 달 동안 마장호수 의용소방대 사무실 앞 공터에서 '상설 심폐소생술 교육장'을 운영한다고 밝혔다.

마장호수는 파주시 광탄면에 위치해 있으며, 지난해에만 120만 명이 다녀간 경기도의 인기 명소로 매년 많은 방문객들이 찾고 있다.

이를 활용해 의용소방대 사무실을 상설 심폐소생술 교육장으로 개방, 가을철(9월·10월) 2개월 동안 매주 토요일 오전 9시부터 오후 17시까지 심폐소생술 체험 기회를 제공한다.

교육 내용은 심정지 환자 인식 및 119 신고 방법, 가슴압박 소생술 시행, 자동심장충격기 사용 이론과 실습, 기도폐쇄 환자 응급처치법 등을 포함하며, 의용소방대원이 주도하여 ‘119수호천사’ 활동을 펼친다.
