고양특례시 일산동구가 ‘2024고양가을꽃축제’로 일산호수공원을 찾는 시민들의 안전을 위해 9월 24일부터 30일까지 총 7일간 도로와 시설물에 대한 안전점검을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

일산호수공원의 가을풍경을 주제로 진행되는 올해 ‘2024고양가을꽃축제’에서는 코스모스, 백일홍 등 가을 꽃밭과 다양한 가을꽃으로 구성된 정원 그리고 가을 테마의 감성 포토존을 비롯해 플라워마켓 등을 즐길 수 있다. 

특히 올해는 지속되는 무더위에 지친 시민들의 가을 나들이 인파가 몰릴 것으로 예상되는 만큼, 일산동구는 시설물에 대한 안전점검을 철저히 실시할 계획이다. 

구는 일산호수공원 인근 호수로와 장항동 일대 ▲도로·보행로 ▲도로 안전시설물(안전휀스, 시선유도봉 등) ▲가로등, 보완등에 대한 특별점검을 실시해 안전사고 예방에 만전을 기할 예정이다.

구 관계자는 “시민들이 가을꽃 축제에서 즐거운 추억을 가득 담아 가시길 바란다. 꽃 나들이를 온 시민들이 편안하게 즐길 수 있도록 안전을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”라고 밝혔다. [고양=박정호 기자]
