고양소방서는 25일 덕양구 내유동에 위치한 요양원을 대상으로 화재안전컨설팅을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 컨설팅은 ‘요양원 등 노유자시설을 방문하여 주방용 K급 소화기를 보급’과 자율 안전관리체계 점검 및 관계자의 안전의식을 고취하고자 마련됐다

이번 컨설팅의 주요 내용으로는 입소 어르신 와상환자 대피 방법 확인 및 지도, 화재 취약 장소 및 위험 요인 사전 제거, 주방 후드·덕트 화재사례에 따른 위험성 안내, 주방용 K급 소화기 보급 및 사용방법 지도, 소방시설 및 피난·방화시설 유지·관리 철저 당부, 건의 및 애로사항 청취 등이다.

더불어, 고양소방서는 소방서의 각 부서장이 요양원 및 노유자 시설 13개소를 대상으로 현장 방문하여 안전 지도를 진행하고 있다고 밝혔다.

정귀용 서장은 “해당 건물은 노유자 시설로써 사고가 발상하면 큰 인명피해로 이어질 수 있는 만큼, 관계자분들께서는 경각심을 가지고 화재 예방에 대한 지속적인 관심과 안전관리에 힘써주길 바란다”고 했다.[고양=박정호 기자]
