일산동부경찰서는 9일 ‘일산 문화공원’ 앞 도로에서 명절을 앞두고 이륜차‧PM 교통사고 등 고비난‧고위험 위반행위 증가에 따른 시민의 ‘도로 위의 평온한 일상 확보’를 위해 단속‧홍보를 포함한 전방위적 안전활동을 전개하였다.

이날 단속은 경기북부경찰청 이륜차‧PM 특별교통안전 대책(‘24.8.1.∼9.30.) 일환으로 한국교통안전공단과 합동으로 실시하였다.

특히 이번 단속에서는 추석 명절을 앞두고 증가 추세에 있는 고위험‧고비난 이륜차‧PM 교통사고 사전 예방을 위해 특별교통안전 활동의 필요성을 알리고, 주 이용자인 청소년‧사회초년생, 배달 운전자의 안전운전과 운전 시 유의사항에 대한 홍보와 단속활동으로 이륜차 안전기준 위반, 불법부착 등 총 12건을 적발함과 동시에 교통안전 홍보용품(유인물) 배부하며 교통법규 준수사항을 실천토록 당부하였다.
