일산동부경찰서는 지난 28일 ‘일산 라페스타’ 일대 총 4개소에서 하계철 이륜차‧PM 교통사고 등 고비난‧고위험 위반행위 증가에 따른 시민의 ‘도로 위의 평온한 일상 확보’를 위해 홍보 활동을 포함한 일제 합동단속을 실시하였다.

이날 단속은 경기북부경찰청 이륜차‧PM 특별교통안전 대책(‘24.8.1.∼9.30.) 일환으로 한국교통안전공단, 모범운전자, 녹색어머니와 합동으로 실시하였다.

특히, 이번 단속에서는 이륜차 소음기 개조, 불법등화 설치 등 적발로 민생침해 불법개조에 대한 경각심 고취, 나아가 교통사망사고 예방, 특별 교통안전 활동의 필요성을 알리고, 배달 운전자의 안전운전과 운전 시 유의사항에 대한 홍보와 단속활동으로 이륜차 불법개조 등 총 43건을 적발함과 동시에 교통안전 홍보용품(유인물, 생수 등) 배부하며 교통법규 준수사항을 실천토록 당부하였다.
