김운남 고양특례시의회 의장이 13일 고양시 킨텍스에서 열린 제112차 경기도시·군의회의장협의회 정례회의에서 북부권협의회 회장으로 선출됐다.

이에 따라 김 의장은 앞으로 2년간 경기북부시·군의장협의회를 이끌게 된다.

김운남 신임 협의회장은 “경기북부는 중첩규제로 지역발전에 제약이 많다.”라며 “꾸준한 소통과 협력으로 경기북부 시민들의 복리 증진을 위한 건설적이고 전문적인 방안을 모색해 나가겠다.”라고 포부를 밝혔다.
