파주소방서(서장 이상태)는 12일 오랜 기간동안 지역사회의 안전을 위해 헌신해 온 의용소방대원 3명에 대한 퇴임식을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

 이번 퇴임식은 지역사회 안전지킴이로 시민을 위해 봉사하고 각종 재난 현장에서 공적이 있는 정년퇴직 의용소방대원에 대한 공로패 수여를 위해 마련됐다.

 공로패 수여 대상자로 선정된 금촌남성의용소방대 장창학 대원, 법원여성의용소방대 박주원 대원, 문산여성의용소방대 정순복 대원은 각각 32년, 14년, 12년 동안 재난 현장에서 화재진압 보조, 화재예방 순찰, 산불예방 캠페인, 지역 봉사활동 등 다양한 소방활동을 통해 파주시민의 안전을 위해 헌신했다.

장착학 대원은 1991년 9월부터 32년 10개월 동안 금촌의용소방대에서 방호부장 등 여러 직책을 맡아 오랜 기간 근무하여 20년 이상 근속으로 도지사 공로패를 수여 받았으며, 박주원·정순복 대원은 10년 이상 근속으로 소방서장 공로패를 수여받았다.
