국민의힘 진종오 의원이 7·23 전당대회 청년최고위원 후보로 공식 등록을 마치며, 젊은 리더로서의 새로운 도전을 알렸다. 

진 의원은 오는 6월 28일 오전 10시, 국회 소통관에서 공식 출마선언을 할 예정이다.

진종오 의원은 "국민의 힘으로 기록하는 청년의 미래” 라는 슬로건 아래 “청년이 바로 대한민국의 미래이며, 국민의힘의 희망이다. 청년의 목소리를 반영하고, 공정과 정의가 살아 숨 쉬는 대한민국을 만들겠습니다”라고 힘찬 포부를 밝혔다. 

진종오 의원의 주요 공약은 다음과 같다.

청년 일자리 창출 확대 : 지역주도형 청년 일자리 사업 전국 의무화, 청년벤처기업 의무적 할당, 청년 AI기업 유망주 육성 프로그램 시행, 청년 일자리 도약 장려금 대폭 확대.

청년 주거 지원제도의 획기적 개편 : 청약방식 개선, 대출규제 완화, 추첨제 비율 확대, 주거 보증금 매칭 프로그램 운용.

진 의원의 선거캠프는‘기록캠프’로 명명되었다.
