고양특례시는 지난 7일 YMCA 고양국제청소년문화센터에서 ‘제14회 경기도장애인체육대회 2024 파주’에 참가했던 고양특례시 장애인체육선수단의 해단식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

4월 25일부터 4월 27일까지 파주시 일원에서 개최된 제14회 경기도장애인체육대회에 고양시에서는 14개 종목 266명의 선수단이 참가했다.

대회에 참가한 선수단은 금메달 18개, 은메달 27개, 동메달 36개를 획득해 종합4위의 성적을 거두고 대회를 마무리했다.

특히 단체종목의 전통강호인 지적농구 종목에서 금메달을 획득하며 9연패를 이루었고, 수영종목에서는 종합 1위라는 영예를 안았다. 또한 댄스스포츠의 노명주 선수가 4관왕, 탁구의 박성주 선수, 육상의 조시형 선수, 댄스스포츠의 김주원 선수 등이 2관왕이라는 뛰어난 성과를 거두었다.
