국민의힘은 30일 진종오 의원을 원내부대표로 임명했다.

원내부대표는 원내대표를 도와 당의 원내 활동과 정책 조정을 담당하고, 국회 운영 전략을 지원하는 중요한 역할을 맡는다.

이번 임명은 진 의원의 뛰어난 리더십과 스포츠 행정가로서의 능력을 인정받아 이루어졌다.

진종오 의원은 윤석열 대통령 대선 후보 시절, 선수로서 최초로 지지선언을 해 큰 주목을 받았다.
