파주소방서는  제14회 경기도 장애인 체육대회 개회식이 열리는 25일 임진각 평화누리 공원에서 소방안전교육 체험 부스를 운영했다고 밝혔다.

이번 체험부스 운영은 행사 방문 관람객 등을 대상으로 체험교육을 통한  안전의식 함양과 응급상황에 대처 방법 향상을 위해 진행되었다.

주요 교육 내용으로는 ▲소화기 체험 ▲심폐소생술·자동심장충격기 이론 및 실습 ▲기도폐쇄 환자 응급처치법 ▲함께 실천하는 안전문화 전개 활동 등 소방공무원 및 소속 의용소방대원으로 구성되어 119수호천사 활동을 전개했다.

이상태 서장은 “위급한 상황에서 능숙히 대응할 수 있도록 응급처치 요령을 숙달하는 것이 중요하다”며 “다양한 장소에서 도민들이 쉽게 참여할 수 있는 소방 안전체험 서비스 제공을 위해 노력하겠다”고 전했다.[파주=박정호 기자]
