법무부 의정부보호관찰소는 위치추적 전자감독(이하 ‘전자발찌’) 대상자의 심리치료 활성화를 위한 경기북부지역 협의회를  11일 개최하였다고 밝혔다.

이날 협의회는 의정부시, 포천시, 양주시 등 경기북부지역 전문의료기관(정신의료기관 3곳, 정신건강복지센터 3곳)과 지자체 정신보건기관(보건소 4곳) 총 11개 기관의 담당자가 참여하였으며, 정신질환 전자발찌 대상자에 대한 신속한 치료적 개입과 효과적인 심리치료를 위한 지자체 및 지역 정신의료기관의 협력체계 구축 등에 관해 협의하였다.

특히, 고위험 정신질환 대상자의 신속한 응급‧행정입원 처리를 위한 기관 간 협력시스템 구축과 정신의료기관 입원 전자발찌 대상자에 대한 심리치료 활성화 및 전문성 제고 방안을 심도깊게 논의하였으며, 정신질환 전자발찌 대상자의 부착기간 종료 후 지역사회 전문기관 연계 등 지역사회 안전망 구축을 위한 거시적 논의도 활발하게 진행되었다.

법무부 의정부보호관찰소는 하반기에는 고양, 남양주 지역으로 확대하고 관련 학회 참석, 정책제안 등 내실 있는 협의회를 유지해 나갈 예정이다.
