파주시산림조합은 지난 3월 4일부터 3월 12일까지 각 읍면동 별로 찾아가는 조합원 간담회를 개최, 성황리에 종료했다.

조합원 간담회는 그동안 코로나등으로 인해 개최하지 못하였다가 각 읍면동별(조리읍, 파주읍, 월롱면, 문산읍, 운정, 광탄면, 탄현면, 적성면, 금촌, 법원읍)로 간담회 개최 수를 대폭 늘려 총11회에 걸쳐 실시 되었다.

이번에 실시한 찾아가는 조합원 간담회에서는 약 1,000여명의 조합원이 참석하여 23년 결산 안내와 더불어 2024년 조합업무안내, 조합원과 소통의 시간을 통해 조합 발전을 위한 의견을 모색하는 귀중한 시간이 되었다.   

전진옥 조합장은 인사말에서 “지난달 수상한 산림조합 종합평가 1위 농림축산식품부 장관상 수상”의 영광은 2,500여 조합원 여러분의 뜨거운 관심과 성원 덕분이라며, 앞으로도 조합원의 성원에 보답할 수 있도록 계속해서 발전하는 조합을 만들어 가겠다고 말했으며, 새로운 변화를 통해 조합원을 위한 조합, 조합원과 함께 하는 조합, 지역발전에 동참하는 조합으로 만들어 가겠다고 약속했다.

아울러 지난해 3월 개점한 운정지점의 성공적인 출발과, 미이용산림자원화센터의 톱밥 우드칩 구매 안내, 3월 9일 개장한 나무시장의 적극적인 이용 당부와 올해도 조합원 예초기, 기계톱 무상점검행사를 실시하여 조합원의 생산활동을 지원 하겠다고 덧붙였다.[파주=박정호 기자]
