‘전세사기 피해자 지원 및 주거안정에 관한 특별법’이  6월 1일부터 시행됐다. 

이동환 고양시장은 “전세사기 피해 확산이 우려되는 상황에서 전세사기로 고통받는 임차인의 재산권을 보호하고 주거안정을 도모하기 위해 전세사기 피해자 지원 업무를 신속히 실시한다.”고 밝혔다.

시는 전세피해 임차인의 신속히 지원하기 위해 업무 처리를 일원화했다. 

전세피해를 입은 시민이 3개 구청 시민봉사과에 전세피해를 신고하면 신고 사항이 시 주택과와 토지정보과에 통보된다. 

시 주택과는 즉시 경기도전세피해지원센터로 피해 사실을 알린다.

특별법에 따라 전세사기 피해자는 ▲피해주택 경매․매각 유예 ▲피해자 우선매수권 ▲세금 안분징수 ▲피해주택 공공임대주택 전환 ▲경매 지원(경·공매 대행지원) ▲금융지원(최우선변제금 무이자 전세대출 지원) ▲거주주택 경락 또는 신규주택 구입시 금융지원 ▲긴급복지 대상자 인정 지원 등을 받을 수 있다.

전세 피해자는 국토교통부 위원회의 심의․의결을 거쳐  피해자로 결정되면 특별법에 따른 지원을 받을 수 있다. 

결과에 이의가 있는 경우에는 30일내에 이의 신청이 가능하며, 20일 내에 재심의 결과를 받아 볼 수 있다.

시는 등록임대사업자를 대상으로 위반하기 쉬운 주요 의무사항을 홍보하고 있으며 전국에서 유일한 ‘임대주택 민원 원데이 처리 서비스’와 민간임대주택 전용 민원실, 전문 전화상담 콜센터 등 다양한 행정 서비스를 실시하고 있다.[고양-박정호 기자]
