파주시는 25일 퍼스트가든에서 2023년도 도시계획위원회 워크숍을 개최하여 파주시 주요 현안인 주거형 지구단위계획 결정에 대한 심의를 진행했다.

이어서 제2회 도시계획·건축 공동위원회를 개최하고, ‘동패동 주거형 지구단위계획 결정’에 대해 심의했다.

심의 대상지는 무연고 공동묘지가 혼재된 운정택지 개발사업지구 남측 미개발지로, 아파트 건설 등의 효율적인 토지이용계획 수립을 위해 주거형 지구단위계획 결정 심의에 상정됐다.

동패동 주거형 지구단위구역은 심의에 앞서 지난 2022년 제1회 공동위원회의 사전자문을 거쳐 조치계획을 수립했으며, 이번 공동위원회에서는 사전자문에 대한 조치계획의 적정성과 토지이용의 효율성, 쾌적한 주거공간 배치 등에 대해 심의했다.

이어 도시계획위원의 역량 강화를 위해 전문가 초빙 특강 등 교육을 마련했으며, 위원들은 교육을 바탕으로 도시계획을 논의하는 시간을 가졌다. 

교육은 도시계획위원회 위원과 인허가 관련 공무원을 대상으로 한방 약초학에 대한 강좌가 운영됐다. 또한 여성친화도시 조성을 위해 한국여성정책연구원 젠더폭력연구본부 소속 연구원을 초빙해 ‘성평등 도시를 조성하기 위한 역량’ 특강을 진행했다.[파주=박정호 기자]
