파주시는 2023년도 본예산이 제235회 파주시의회 정례회 의결을 거쳐 19일 확정됐다.

따라서 민선 8기 김경일 시장의 활력·포용·자족도시 건설을 위한 계획이 탄력을 받을 전망이다.

본예산 총 규모는 역대 최대 규모인 1조9,543억원으로, 일반회계는  1조6,098억원으로금년 1조4,944억원보다 1,154억원(7.7%)이 늘어났다.

특별회계는 3,445억원 으로 금년 2,910억원보다 535억원(18.4%)이 늘어난 규모다.

먼저, 활력경제 미래도약 예산으로 ▲시비 47억4천만원을 추가 투입한 지역화폐 발행·운영 104억원 ▲수요응답버스 운영 37억원 ▲법원1 일반산단 북측 진입도로 개설공사 20억원 ▲공영주차장 확충 126억원 ▲GTX-A 건설 분담금 39억원 등을 편성했다.

포용사회 문화도시 실현을 위해서는 ▲청년 월세지원 등 청년 주거지원 확대 11억원 ▲파주문화재단 설립 타당성 검토 8천만원 ▲보육시설 민간지원 24억원 ▲안전취약지대 방범CCTV 설치 58억원 등을 편성했다.

마지막으로, 시민중심 자족도시를 위한 주요 사업으로 ▲도시가스 및 LPG 배관망 지원 20억원 ▲반다비 국민체육센터 건립 50억원 ▲마장호수 관광인프라 확충 25억원 ▲상수도 6단계 확장 66억원 등을 편성했다.
