고양도시관리공사(사장 안병구)는 지난 2년간 코로나19 안심숙소와 생활치료센터로 사용되었던 킨텍스 캠핑장을 6월 5일부터 재개장 한다고 19일 밝혔다.

 코로나19 상황에서 해외입국자 격리시설, 안심 숙소 및 생활치료센터 등 시민의 안전을 위한 공간으로 활용되며 총 2,180여 명이 이용한 바 있다.

 킨텍스 캠핑장은 지난 2016년 11월 개장 이후, 도심 속 힐링 공간으로 시민들의 많은 사랑을 받으며, 연간 67,000여 명이 캠핑장을 찾는 명실상부 고양시 대표 명소로 자리매김하였다.

 총 39,000㎡ 부지에 시민가족캠핑존 15면, 오토캠핑존 25면, 카라반 36동, 공동 편의시설 등을 갖추고 있으며 특히, 자유로 이산포 IC와 인접해 있으며, 주변에 대형마트가 있어 접근성과 편의성이 뛰어나다.
