고양도시관리공사는 원당 도시재생 활성화 지역 내 노후 공동주택 담장 개선공사를 성공적으로 완료 했다고 3일 밝혔다.

 원도심 골목길 재생사업은 도시재생 뉴딜사업의 일환으로, 원도심 지역의 소규모 노후 기반시설 등을 개선해 골목길 환경과 시민의 안정성을 높이는 사업이다.

 이번 사업은 원당 주민들과 원당 도시재생현장지원센터와의 지속적인 협의를 통해 진행되었다.

기존의 낡고 균열이 심한 30세대가 거주하는 노후 아파트 담장을 재조성해 안전을 확보하고 미관 개선은 물론, 출입구를 확장해 담장 안팎으로 통행이 가능하게 하여 주민들의 만족도를 높였다.
