고양시(시장 이재준) 대화도서관은 창의력 향상 및 미래형 인재 육성을 위한 ‘메이커스페이스 오프라인교육’을 이달부터 재개한다고 9일 밝혔다.
교육은 대화도서관 메이커스페이스에서 보유하고 있는 장비를 활용해 초등학생 및 중학생 대상으로 이달 17일부터 28일까지 진행된다.
모든 프로그램은 코로나19 감염 예방을 위해 마스크 착용 및 손소독제 사용 등 방역지침을 철저히 준수하며 교육을 진행한다.
한편, 대화도서관은 시제품 제작에 도움이 될 수 있도록 카본 3D프린터를 새로 도입해 사전 예약한 시민 대상으로 무료 사용 서비스도 제공하고 있다.
또한 (예비)창업자 및 소상공인 등을 대상으로 시제품 제작 컨설팅 프로그램도 운영을 준비하고 있다. 고양=이동석기자
Goyang City Daehwa Library resumes offline education using makerspace
-Beginning on the 17th of this month for elementary and junior high school students
The Daehwa Library of Goyang-si (Mayor Jae-joon Lee) announced on the 9th that it will resume “makerspace offline training” to improve creativity and foster future talent.
Education will be conducted from the 17th to the 28th of this month for elementary and middle school students using equipment owned by the makerspace of Daehwa Library.

Course registration is available on the bulletin board for cultural events on the website of the Goyang City Library Center, and each program recruits 10 students on a first-come, first-served basis. All programs are trained in strict compliance with quarantine guidelines, such as wearing a mask and using hand sanitizers to prevent COVID-19 infection.
Meanwhile, Daehwa Library has introduced a new carbon 3D printer to help with the production of prototypes, and is also providing a free use service to citizens who have reserved in advance.
