고양특례시가 시민과 함께하는 화합과 소통의 장을 마련한다.

고양특례시는 오는 10월 3일 오후 2시부터 고양아람누리 일원에서 ‘2026 고양특례시민의 날’ 행사를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

‘가치 있는 고양, 같이 가는 고양’을 슬로건으로 열리는 이번 행사는 시민이 주인공이 되는 열린 문화축제로 마련됐다. 

오후 2시부터 6시까지 아람누리 광장 일원에서 다양한 체험·문화행사가 진행되며, 오후 5시 30분부터는 아람음악당에서 공식 기념식이 열린다.

행사장에서는 고양특례시걷기연맹이 주관하는 시민의 날 걷기대회가 펼쳐진다. 

참가자들은 호수공원에서 출발해 아람누리 광장까지 약 500명이 함께 걷는 코스를 진행하며, 사전 접수 참가자에게는 모바일 완보증과 완보뱃지가 제공된다.

고양시 호수마켓도 시민들의 발길을 맞는다.

고양시수공예작가협의회가 참여해 패브릭, 매듭 액세서리, 도자기, 목공, 뜨개, 가죽, 라탄 등 다양한 수공예품을 선보인다.

가족 단위 방문객을 위한 체험 프로그램도 풍성하다. 

야외도서관과 쉼터에서는 독서 보드게임과 퍼즐, 즉석사진 촬영 등이 진행되며, 재난안전 OX퀴즈와 심폐소생술(CPR) 체험, 페이스페인팅, 삼행시 짓기 등 시민 참여 프로그램도 마련된다.

시정 홍보 및 생활 밀착형 서비스도 제공된다. 

일자리정책과에서는 맞춤형 일자리 상담과 직업 적성 검사를 진행하고, 복지정책과는 복지서비스와 통합돌봄을 안내한다. 

일산동구보건소에서는 혈압 측정과 건강 상담 등을 실시한다.

특히 걷기대회와 각종 체험 프로그램에 참여해 스탬프 3개 이상을 모은 시민에게는 고양시 티셔츠와 고양이 캐릭터 키링, 고양이 솜사탕을 증정하는 이벤트도 마련된다.

오후 5시 30분부터는 아람음악당에서 기념식이 이어진다.

식전 행사에서는 민선 9기 고양특례시의 주요 활동을 담은 홍보영상이 상영되며, 고양특례시태권도시범단의 역동적인 태권무 공연과 인기 아이돌 그룹 ‘리센느’의 축하 영상이 분위기를 더한다.

이어 지역사회 발전에 기여한 시민들을 격려하기 위한 고양특례시장 및 고양시의회 의장 표창 수여식이 진행된다.

민경선 고양특례시장은 기념사를 통해 민선 9기의 비전과 출범 이후 약 3개월간 추진해 온 주요 변화와 성과를 시민들에게 직접 설명할 예정이다.

행사의 마지막은 고양시립합창단의 축하공연과 시민 모두가 함께하는 합창으로 장식된다.
