고양특례시가 2026년 청년의 날을 맞아 청년들이 직접 참여하고 서로의 취향을 나누며 소통할 수 있는 축제를 마련한다.

시는 오는 9월 19일 덕양구 화정동 청년공간 ‘내일꿈제작소’에서 청년축제 ‘GOMZ DAY(곰즈데이)’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

‘GOMZ’는 고양시의 ‘GO’와 MZ세대를 결합한 이름으로, 고양지역 청년들이 한자리에 모여 각자의 취향을 공유하고 새로운 인연을 만들어간다는 의미를 담았다.

특히 이번 축제는 기획 단계부터 2030 청년 8명으로 구성된 ‘청년행사기획단’이 직접 참여했다. 

청년들의 눈높이에서 축제의 슬로건과 프로그램을 구성했으며, ‘취향이 만나면, 인연이 된다’를 주제로 청년 간 교류와 참여에 초점을 맞췄다.

축제에서는 청년들의 자연스러운 만남과 교류를 위한 프로그램이 눈길을 끈다. 

20대와 30대 그룹별로 진행되는 ‘로테이션 소개팅’과 음악과 게임을 접목한 ‘소셜링 파티’ 등이 마련된다. 

토당청소년수련관과 협력해 헤어·메이크업 스타일링 케어도 제공할 예정이다.

자신의 취향과 진로를 탐색할 수 있는 체험 프로그램도 풍성하다. 

퍼스널 컬러 진단을 비롯해 나만의 향수 만들기, 와인 매너 클래스, 키캡 만들기, 반려식물 분갈이, 타로카드 체험 등이 운영된다.

대학과 연계한 진로·취업 프로그램도 마련된다. 

한국항공대학교와 중부대학교가 참여해 청년들을 대상으로 진로 및 취업 상담과 관련 정보를 제공할 예정이다.

일부 프로그램은 사전 신청을 통해 참여할 수 있다.

본 행사에 앞서 9월 11일부터 17일까지 일주일간 ‘청년주간’도 운영된다.

9월 11일에는 일산호수공원에서 청년 러닝 이벤트 ‘YOUTH RUN’이 열리며, 15일에는 내일꿈제작소에서 청년들이 함께 식사를 나누는 ‘청년밥상’이 진행된다.

16일에는 ‘AI 활용 면접 전략 특강’이 마련되고, 17일에는 ‘오.하.클 MBTI 향수 만들기’와 ‘닥터베르 명사특강’이 이어진다.

시는 청년주간과 GOMZ DAY를 통해 청년들이 단순히 행사에 참여하는 것을 넘어 서로 교류하고 자신의 관심 분야와 진로를 탐색할 수 있는 기회를 제공한다는 계획이다.
