파주시가 어린이들이 공연을 통해 건강한 식습관과 위생수칙을 자연스럽게 익힐 수 있도록 참여형 뮤지컬을 마련한다.

파주시 어린이·사회복지급식관리지원센터는 오는 9월 10일부터 11일까지 이틀간 문산행복센터 대공연장에서 어린이 식생활 안전 순회공연 ‘벨과 야수의 건강밥상’을 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 공연은 경기도가 지원하는 ‘2026년 경기도 어린이 식생활 안전 순회공연’의 하나로 마련됐다. 

파주시 관내 어린이급식소 29개소에서 3~5세 어린이 797명이 참여할 예정이다.

‘벨과 야수의 건강밥상’은 어린이들에게 친숙한 고전 동화 ‘미녀와 야수’를 각색한 참여형 뮤지컬쇼다. 

노래와 율동, 다양한 무대 연출을 통해 어린이들이 공연에 직접 참여하면서 건강한 식생활의 중요성을 재미있게 배울 수 있도록 구성했다.

공연에서는 등장인물들이 건강한 식생활 습관을 찾아가는 과정을 중심으로 이야기가 펼쳐진다. 

어린이들은 공연을 보며 ▲달고 짠 음식 줄이기 ▲음식을 골고루 먹기 ▲식중독 예방수칙 등 일상생활에서 실천할 수 있는 건강·위생 수칙을 자연스럽게 익히게 된다.

특히 단순한 관람형 교육에서 벗어나 어린이들이 노래와 율동을 함께 따라 하며 직접 참여하도록 구성해 교육 효과와 재미를 동시에 높일 것으로 기대된다.
