파주시가 청년들의 사회적 기본권 보장과 지역경제 활성화를 위해 ‘2026년 3분기 경기도 청년기본소득’ 신청을 받는다.

파주시는 9월 1일부터 10월 2일까지 청년기본소득 신청을 접수한다고 밝혔다. 

이번 지원 대상은 신청일 기준 경기도에 주민등록을 둔 24세 청년으로, 2001년 7월 2일부터 2002년 7월 1일 사이 출생자다.

거주 요건은 경기도 내 최근 3년 이상 계속 거주했거나, 합산 10년 이상 거주한 경우다.

대상자로 선정되면 분기별 25만 원씩, 연간 최대 100만 원의 청년기본소득을 지원받는다. 

특히 기초생활수급 청년은 수급자증명서를 첨부할 경우 분기별 지급이 아닌 100만 원을 일시금으로 받을 수 있다.

지원금은 오는 10월 20일부터 경기지역화폐인 ‘파주페이’로 지급될 예정이다. 

지급된 지원금은 지급일로부터 3년간 사용할 수 있다.

사용처는 파주시 내 지역화폐 가맹점이며, 학원 수강료와 시험 응시료의 경우 경기도 전역은 물론 온라인에서도 사용할 수 있다.

신청은 경기도 일자리지원사업 통합접수시스템을 통해 온라인으로 하면 된다. 

회원가입 후 주민등록초본을 첨부하거나 공공 마이데이터 활용에 동의하면 별도의 서류 제출 부담을 줄여 간편하게 신청할 수 있다.

지난 분기 신청 당시 자동 신청에 동의한 대상자는 별도의 신청 절차 없이 심사 대상에 포함된다.

 다만 주소 등 개인정보에 변경사항이 있는 경우에는 신청 기간 내 반드시 정보를 수정해야 한다.

반면 이번에 처음 신청하는 청년은 자동 신청이 적용되지 않기 때문에 반드시 접수 기간 내 직접 신청을 완료해야 한다.

파주시 관계자는 청년기본소득이 청년들의 경제적 부담을 덜고 지역 내 소비를 촉진하는 데 도움이 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.
