파주시는 오는 9월 11일 두원공과대학교 파주캠퍼스에서 청소년들의 진로 탐색과 미래 설계를 지원하기 위한 ‘2026 파주진로교육박람회’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 박람회는 ‘인공지능(AI) 기반 미래교육’을 핵심 주제로 마련됐다. 

급변하는 직업 세계에 대응해 초·중·고등학생들이 자신의 적성과 흥미를 발견하고, 미래 직업과 진학에 대한 구체적인 방향을 주도적으로 찾아갈 수 있도록 다양한 진로 상담과 체험 프로그램을 운영한다.

특히 지역 대학과 연계한 전공 체험 프로그램이 눈길을 끈다. 

두원공과대학교 등 지역 대학의 전문 인프라를 활용해 학과별 특화된 진로체험 및 전공 실습 공간을 마련하고, 학생들이 대학 수준의 전공과 관련 직무를 현장에서 직접 경험할 수 있도록 지원할 예정이다.

진로·진학 상담도 강화한다. 

현직 진로전담교사의 전문적인 상담과 교육청의 체계적인 진로·직업 지도를 연계해 학생 개개인의 적성과 관심 분야에 맞는 실질적인 진로 방향을 제시한다.

미래교육 체험 프로그램은 인공지능(AI), 로봇, 반도체 등 신산업 분야를 중심으로 학생들의 눈높이에 맞춰 구성된다. 

초등학생을 대상으로 한 진로 지도 프로그램을 확대하고, 중·고등학생에게는 진학과 직업 선택에 실질적인 도움을 줄 수 있는 맞춤형 프로그램을 제공할 계획이다.

이를 통해 학생들은 단순히 미래 직업을 알아보는 데 그치지 않고, 다양한 분야의 직업과 전공을 직접 체험하면서 자신의 관심과 강점을 구체적으로 확인할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Through this, it is expected that students will not merely explore future careers but will be able to concretely identify their interests and strengths by directly experiencing various professions and majors.
