고양특례시가 급변하는 사회 환경에 대응하고 지역사회를 이끌어갈 주민 리더를 양성하기 위해 ‘2026년 마을활동가 기본교육’ 참여자를 모집한다.

이번 교육은 이웃 간 소통을 촉진하고 지역의 다양한 문제를 발굴·해결하는 등 마을공동체의 지속 가능한 성장을 이끌 수 있도록 주민들의 실천 역량을 강화하기 위해 마련됐다.

교육은 오는 9월 7일부터 17일까지 총 4회에 걸쳐 진행된다. 

9월 7일과 10일, 14일, 17일 매주 월·목요일 오후 1시 30분부터 4시 30분까지 고양시자치공동체지원센터 교육장(덕양구 마상로108번길 2)에서 열린다.

교육에서는 마을공동체 정책과 사회 변화에 대한 이해를 비롯해 회의 운영 및 소통 방법, 마을과제 발견과 계획 수립 등을 다룬다. 

마지막 4강에서는 참여자들이 실제 마을활동에 적용할 수 있는 내용을 중심으로 활동가 워크숍을 진행한다. 

강의는 손석환 사회적협동조합 마을로 상임이사가 맡는다.

특히 이번 교육에서 3강 이상을 수료한 참여자에게는 2027년도 주민제안 공모사업 신청 시 가산점 혜택이 주어진다. 

교육을 통해 주민들의 역량을 높이는 동시에 향후 마을공동체 사업 참여로 이어질 수 있도록 지원할 계획이다.

마을활동과 공동체 활동에 관심이 있는 고양시민이라면 누구나 참여할 수 있으며, 온라인을 통해 신청하면 된다.
