고양특례시가 청년들의 취업 지원 접근성을 높이고 맞춤형 고용 서비스를 강화하기 위해 복합문화공간인 ‘내일꿈제작소’에 고양시통합일자리센터 직업상담사를 상시 배치한다.

시는 오는 9월 4일부터 내일꿈제작소 A동 2층 취업상담실에서 직업상담 서비스를 운영한다고 밝혔다. 

상담은 평일 오전 9시부터 오후 6시까지 제공되며, 내일꿈제작소를 찾는 청년 누구나 진로와 취업에 관한 상담을 받을 수 있다.

그동안 내일꿈제작소에는 전문 직업상담사가 상주하지 않아 청년들이 취업 관련 정보를 얻거나 전문적인 상담을 받는 데 일정 부분 한계가 있었다. 

시는 이번 직업상담사 상시 배치를 통해 청년들이 공간을 이용하면서 자연스럽게 취업 지원 서비스를 받을 수 있도록 하고, 초기 상담부터 취업 알선까지 현장 중심의 맞춤형 지원을 강화할 계획이다.

직업상담사는 방문 청년을 대상으로 1대 1 맞춤형 진로·취업 상담을 진행하고, 최신 구직 정보와 채용 소식을 실시간으로 제공한다. 

상담 결과에 따라 적합한 구인·구직 일자리를 알선하고, ‘청년 캣취업 사관학교’와 ‘취업캠프’ 등 고양시가 운영하는 다양한 취업 지원 프로그램과도 연계할 예정이다.

이를 통해 청년들은 별도의 기관을 찾아 이동하지 않고도 내일꿈제작소에서 진로 탐색부터 전문 취업 컨설팅, 구직 정보 확인, 일자리 알선 및 취업 프로그램 참여까지 단계별 지원을 받을 수 있게 된다. 

시는 이번 서비스가 청년들의 취업 정보 접근성을 높이고 실질적인 취업 기회를 확대하는 데 도움이 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.

한편, 고양시통합일자리센터는 시민들이 생활권 가까이에서 취업상담을 받을 수 있도록 13개 거점 일자리상담창구를 운영하고 있다.
