파주시 문산도서관이 다음 달부터 시니어층을 겨냥한 인공지능 기반 구직 준비 프로그램의 문을 연다.

문산도서관은 다가오는 9월 2일부터 매주 수요일 오전 11시마다 네 차례에 걸쳐 시니어 대상 AI 취업교육을 연다고 전했으며 언론진흥재단이 진행하는 공모사업에 선정된 이번 프로그램은 나이 든 세대의 디지털 격차를 줄이고, 첨단기술을 실제 일자리 찾기에 접목시켜보자는 취지에서 출발했고 수강 인원은 만 55세를 넘긴 시니어 15명으로 제한되며, 도서관 홈페이지에서 신청 순서대로 마감된다.

강사는  고은진 강사며  언론진흥재단 소속 디지털 분야 전문 교육자이며 수업을 듣는 이들은 도서관에 비치된 전용 학습기기를 다루면서 일자리 검색 요령, 서류 작성 방법, 나아가 면접에서 실전 연습까지 구직의 전 단계를 손수 체험하게 된다.

도서관 관계자들은 프로그램이 시니어 세대의 디지털 소양을 높이는 것은 물론, 빠르게 바뀌는 채용 트렌드에 적극 발맞춰 나갈 밑거름이 될 것으로 보고 있으며 나아가 강사진 규모와 수업 내용을 지속적으로 보완해 성과를 끌어올린다는 구상이다.

이인숙 문산도서관장은 "이번 교육이 어르신들에게 실제 생활에 활용할 수 있는 디지털 문해력을 키우고 취업 준비를 하는 데 있어 자신감을 얻는 계기가 되길 바란다"라며, "앞으로도 일상생활에 활용할 수 있는 프로그램을 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다"라고 말했다.

Paju City's Munsan Library will open an AI-based job preparation program targeting seniors starting next month.

The library announced that it will hold four sessions of AI job training for seniors every Wednesday at 11:00 AM, beginning on September 2. Selected as part of a public competition project by the Korea Press Foundation, this program was launched with the aim of bridging the digital divide for the aging generation and applying cutting-edge technology to actual job hunting. Enrollment is limited to 15 seniors aged 55 and older, and registration closes on a first-come, first-served basis via the library's website.
