고양특례시가 오는 8월과 9월 고양종합운동장에서 잇따라 열리는 초대형 콘서트의 안전한 개최와 관람객 편의 확보를 위해 행정력을 총동원한다.

고양시는 지난 6일 민경선 시장 주재로 ‘2026년 하반기 대형공연 행정지원대책 보고회’를 열고 대형 공연에 대비한 안전·교통·인파 관리 대책과 유관기관 간 협력체계를 집중 점검했다.

고양종합운동장에서는 오는 8월 21일부터 23일까지 사흘간 ‘BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR <XX : COSMOS> IN GOYANG’이 개최된다. 

약 9년 만에 완전체로 돌아온 빅뱅의 월드투어 첫 무대로, 3회 공연 모두 전석 매진된 데 이어 추가 좌석까지 판매가 완료되는 등 높은 관심을 받고 있다.

이어 9월 4일부터 6일까지는 임영웅의 ‘IM HERO - THE STADIUM 2’ 콘서트가 사흘간 열린다. 

이 공연 역시 전 회차 매진을 기록하면서 두 달 사이 수십만 명의 관람객이 고양을 찾을 것으로 예상된다.

고양시는 특히 한여름에 열리는 빅뱅 공연의 특성을 고려해 폭염 대응에 중점을 둔 관람 환경을 조성할 계획이다.

공연장 곳곳에 더위 피난 쉼터를 마련하고 운영 부스를 확대해 관람객의 대기시간과 이동 동선을 줄이는 한편, 임시 의무실을 대규모로 확보해 온열질환 등 응급상황에 신속하게 대응한다.

다양한 연령층의 관람객이 찾을 것으로 예상되는 임영웅 콘서트에는 밀착형 안내 체계를 구축한다. 

넓은 공연장에서 관람객들이 안전하게 이동하고 좌석을 쉽게 찾을 수 있도록 안내 인력을 대폭 배치하고, 관람객 쉼터와 음료 제공, 응급 대응 인력 운영 등을 통해 현장 안전관리를 강화할 방침이다.

교통 혼잡을 줄이기 위한 대책도 마련된다.

고양시는 공연 당일 GTX-A 킨텍스역과 고양종합운동장을 연결하는 순환버스를 운행해 공연 전후 관람객 이동을 지원하고, 공연장 주변 불법 주정차와 노점상 단속을 강화한다. 

또한 긴급차량 통행로를 사전에 확보해 만일의 상황에 대비한다.

공연 종료 후 관람객이 한꺼번에 몰리는 상황을 방지하기 위해 퇴장 동선도 분산한다. 

경찰·소방·한국철도공사 등 유관기관과 일원화된 협조체계를 구축하고, 시 현장본부를 중심으로 공연장 안팎의 안전과 교통 상황을 종합적으로 관리할 예정이다.

인근 주민들의 불편을 최소화하기 위한 대책도 추진한다. 

시는 공연 일정과 교통 통제 내용을 사전에 안내하고 행사 기간 당직실을 운영해 야간과 주말에도 주민 민원에 신속하게 대응할 계획이다.
